We explore aspects of London's history and architecture in a variety of London East End districts. An initial discussion is followed by seven London walks covering Spitalfields, Brick Lane, Whitechapel, Stepney, Bethnall Green, Shoreditch and Limehouse

- Christopher Wren's London
Through an introductory slide lecture and seven accompanying visits and walks we study the main buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren in London. These include St Paul's Cathedral, the former Royal Naval College in Greenwich, the Royal Hospital in Chelsea and fifteen City churches, including existing buildings and ruins.

- London villages
Through an introductory slide lecture and seven accompanying walks we learn about the history, architecture and famous people who lived in London's villages.
